Deià Escola d’Art i Disseny is an educational centre founded in 1989, which falls under the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The school teaches middle and higher education courses, as well as higher studies in Design, at the Deià Campus of Escola Superior de Disseny i Arts Plàstiques de Catalunya (ESDAPC), equivalent to a university degree. The main specialties are interior design, multimedia graphics and the baccalaureate in arts. It is currently located in the neighbourhood of Canyelles (Nou Barris), in next to Collserola park. The building of the Deià art school features several multipurpose classrooms, workshops and an assembly hall, in addition to a variety of meeting and study spaces. The school also features an outdoor garden area and a sports pavilion.
